The HT Coupler range is for the mechanical connection of deformed steel reinforcing bars complying with BS4449 grade 500B.
The HT(EP) Positional Coupler is suitable for connecting 2 bars of the same diameter where neither bar can be rotated and neither bar can be moved.

The HT(EP) Positional Coupler satisfies the requirements of CARES Appendix TA1-B for couplers with reinforcing bars and is produced under an ISO9001 quality management system certified by CARES.
The couplers are delivered to site welded to the appropriate rebars. The formation of the joint is achieved by screwing the male and female sections of the coupler together.
The joint should be tightened using a wrench until no further movement is possible between the two sections.
