A cavity system which manages the passage of water around the structure, and complies with Type "C" construction to provide Grade 4 protection as detailed in BS8102:1990. Thickness of cavity membrane dependant on waterflow protection. Horizontal 10mm thick membrane manages 7 litres per metre per second - vertical 0.2 litres per metre per second. Horizontal 20mm thick membrane manages 12 litres per metre per second - vertical 0.45 litres per metre per second.
- Can be used between outer brickwork and inner skin block work, under screeds and where applying a waterproof system externally is difficult.
- Overlap by a minimum of 3 dimples (eggcups), using 50mm double sided tape (click here for codes and sizes)
- Laps sealed with cavity membrane sealant.
