Hy-Ten uses Steelpac V2 software to run all its reinforcement production facilities. This unique software enables Hy-Ten to receive bar schedules electronically from all the major reinforcement detailing programmes.
The transferring of bar schedules electronically (as opposed to sending the data by fax or post) removes the need for manual inputting of manufacturing information. Manual inputting is time consuming and provides an opportunity for error and delay, not least because faxed and photo copied schedules are often very difficult to read. Accordingly, the electronic transfer of bar schedules improves lead times and eliminates an opportunity for error and is therefore best practice.

Steelpac also provides a software product called Steelpac Site which helps contractors to plan, manage and interrogate their reinforcement requirements. This software allows contractors to create a reinforcement supply chain between the detailing engineer, themselves and Hy-Ten which is completely electronic and thereby extremely efficient.
